In 2023 Alaa and Samuel took our family bread to Walmart Open call and received a golden ticket deal, launching our traditional bread into Nation Distribution. In 2024 Cham attended KeHE’s open call event and was selected as a 2024 KeHE trendfinder. 2025 Cham launched in the midwest and east coast regions with UNFI, and in 2026 Fox River Dairy took over as Cham’s exclusive local St. Louis distribution partner.
Our recipes were passed from grandfather to father, Fiaz Alderie, and then to Alaa, preserving traditional methods while building a modern, fully automated bakery in the United States. Today, Cham Bakery produces a loaf of bread every four seconds and serves national distribution through UNFI, delivering authentic, clean-label pita bread to retailers across the country
