What we keep, and why
The short version: we keep what you send us so we can answer you, we never sell it, and we delete it when you ask.
What the forms keep
This site has four forms: contact, foodservice samples, wholesale and distributors, and retail buyers. When you send one, we keep what you typed into it:
- your name
- your email address
- your phone number, if you gave one
- your company, if you gave one
- your message
We also note the date you sent it and the internet address it came from, so we can spot and stop spam.
Why we keep it
To answer you. If you asked for samples or about carrying our pita, we use your details to arrange that and to follow up about it. We do not add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us.
Who sees it
The people at Cham Bakery who answer enquiries. Your message is stored in the bakery's own system and sent to us by email through our mail provider. We do not sell, rent or trade your details to anybody.
How long we keep it
As long as we are talking with you about it, and for as long as we have a reason to, such as an order you placed. If you would rather we did not keep it, ask and we will delete it. Messages our spam filter turns away are deleted after 90 days.
Analytics
On chambakery.com we use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful. We also run the Meta (Facebook) pixel, which tells Meta that somebody visited, so we can see whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram bring people here. They use cookies to do it. They do not tell us who you are. You can block them in your browser's settings, and the site works the same without them.
Asking us to delete your details
Write to us through the contact page, or call or email us using the details at the foot of this page, and tell us what to delete. We will do it and let you know.
